Welcome to The Studio Faringdon. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (thestudiofaringdon.co.uk), our booking systems via Momoyoga, and your participation in our studio classes, workshops, therapies, and events located at 3 Marlborough St, Faringdon, SN7 7JE.
By booking any service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
- Services & Registration
Our Offerings: The Studio Faringdon provides holistic wellness services including group and private Yoga, Pilates, Reiki, and Sound Healing/Sound Baths.
Account Creation: To book classes, you must register an account via our authorized online booking partner on the Momoyoga Login Page. You agree to provide accurate contact and health details during registration.
- Bookings and Cancellation Policy
Advance Booking: Due to limited space, all sessions, workshops, and courses must be booked and paid for in advance online using the Momoyoga Schedule.
Group Classes: We operate a strict 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your class reservation more than 12 hours before the scheduled start time, the class credit will be returned to your account. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time are non-refundable, and the credit is forfeited.
Workshops, Events & Reiki Courses: Bookings for special events, sound baths, workshops, and Reiki certification courses are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the session is officially cancelled by the studio.
- Pricing and Payments
Fees: Current prices for single drop-ins, class passes, and therapies are listed on our website and booking app. We reserve the right to alter pricing structures at any time.
Pass Expirations: Multi-class packs have fixed expiry dates from the date of purchase. Unused classes cannot be extended or refunded.
- Health, Safety, and Medical Disclaimer
Assumption of Risk: Physical exercise (including Yoga and Pilates) involves movement and physical exertion. By participating, you acknowledge that minor or major physical injury is a possibility and assume this risk.
Medical Clearance: It is your sole responsibility to consult a GP or medical professional before commencing classes if you are pregnant, nursing, recovering from surgery, or have pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.
Duty to Disclose: You must inform your instructor or therapist before the session begins of any injuries, medical changes, or physical limitations. Always listen to your body and practice within your personal comfort limits.
- Studio Etiquette and Rules
Punctuality: Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your class or therapy session starts. Out of respect for other clients and the calming atmosphere of the studio, late entry is not permitted once a session has begun.
Hygiene & Attire: Clean, comfortable exercise or yoga clothing is required. If using studio-provided mats or props, you agree to wipe them down thoroughly using the provided sanitiser after use.
Code of Conduct: The Studio Faringdon is a dedicated community healing space. Disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior toward instructors, practitioners, or fellow attendees will result in immediate termination of studio access without a refund.
- Limitation of Liability
Personal Belongings: We accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items brought into the studio premises at Marlborough Street.
General Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by English law, The Studio Faringdon and its independent instructors/therapists shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or consequential damages sustained on-site or resulting from your participation in our sessions.
- Data Protection (GDPR)
We respect your privacy. Any personal information, contact data, and medical health questionnaires collected through our booking software are stored securely and processed in strict compliance with UK GDPR regulations
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be handled exclusively within the jurisdiction of the English courts.
